Whilst there were initially some questions about the event going ahead due to complications from COVID-19, Saudi International Airshow organisers have confirmed that the huge aerospace event is still set to go ahead in February.

Additionally, the Saudi International Airshow will introduce two new areas: Space & Satellite, and Aviation & Aerospace Cyber Security. International pavilions with representatives from USA, France, UK, Russia, China, Czech Republic will also be found at the event.

New areas for the event in 2021 will focus on space and satellite, UAV and drones, and aviation training. For those interested in a career in aviation, the airshow will ‘provide an opportunity to learn about careers, exchange ideas, ask questions of industry experts and enjoy a hands-on experience within the aviation and aerospace industry’.

The airshow is expected to exhibit over 100 aircrafts, with 450 exhibitors and a jaw-dropping 50,000 international trade attendees. The first show took place in 2019, so you can expect that the organisers have been working on some wow-worthy new features.

On the airshow’s official website, it states that the ‘Saudi International Airshow connects the Aviation and Aerospace industry to Saudi Arabia.’ Additionally, it states that ‘this event provides the perfect platform to learn, network and conduct business across all areas of the industry and promote successful worldwide trade’.
