The iconic car brand has set its sights on Saudi Arabia for the first Porsche Design hotel in the Middle East…
Saudi Arabia will become home to the Middle East’s first Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotel, as it continues to add to its impressive array of luxury hotels.
Deutsche Hospitality, the umbrella brand behind Steigenberger hotels has partnered with the Porsche Design Group to launch a collection of 15 Steigenberger Porsche Design hotels around the world, with the one in Saudi Arabia set to be the first in the Middle East.
Among the futuristic features, Saudi’s Steigenberger Porsche Design hotel will couple the distinctive Porsche lifestyle design with Steigenberger hospitality, across a collection of 150 rooms, restaurant, lounge, and ample social spaces. There will be a big wellness focus, with a world-class health and beauty facility complete with gym and spa.
According to a statement, guests will also benefit from an individualized journey at every touchpoint, driven by the hotel’s focus on hyper personalization, innovation, and functional approach.
As of yet, a location or timeline for the property, a collaboration between Deutsche Hospitality and Saudi’s Tourism Development Fund (TDF), have not yet been given, so we could see this striking property breaking ground in cosmopolitan Riyadh, on the Jeddah waterfront, or a totally different location.
“Through this collaboration – which will result in first of its kind hospitality offerings – we continue to enhance the Kingdom’s tourism offering under the National Tourism Strategy,” commented Qusai Al-Fakhri, CEO of TDF.
Those looking to tick several Porsche Design hotel’s off their travel bucket list can look forward to checking out properties in locations around the globe including London, Shanghai and neighbouring Dubai, although the Dubai outpost will open after Saudi Arabia.
