Groove on the Grass music festival lands in Jeddah this weekend
The music festival takes place on Friday May 13 and Saturday May 14…
Get into the groove this weekend, thanks to Groove On The Grass. The music and arts festival is coming to Saudi Arabia for the first time and takes place in Juman Park in Jeddah’s King Abdullah Economic City from Friday May 13 to Saturday May 14.
If you’ve been missing MDLBeast Soundstorm, you’ll love the DJs performing at Groove On The Grass, as they cover everything from house to techno music. On May 13, the impressive line-up includes Hats and Klaps, Deian, Varoo, Dorar, Vinyl Mode, Dish Dash, Shkoon, Birds of Mind, Mano le Tough. On May 14, there will be a music event series called La Maison.
Groove on the Grass originally began in neighbouring Dubai and has been running for more than nine years. Over this time, the music festival has showcased more than 180 different artists, but this is its first time in the kingdom.

Tickets are currently on sale and start from SAR352. If you’re keen to visit, you must be at least 18 years old. Plus, visitors must be fully vaccinated and show their vaccination status on the Tawakkalna app.
It’s not just about live music – the event will be held outdoors in Juman Park, and the park will be transformed with a stage and marketplace. While you are not allowed to bring your own food and drink, there will be vendors on hand during the festival. There’ll also be markets selling local goods, which range from fashion to art. Sounds like music to our ears.
