Swiss Butter opens its first branch in Riyadh…
Riyadh’s dining scene is constantly evolving. Week after week, a new restaurant joins the F&B industry, and one of the latest restaurants to open in Century Corner is a Lebanese restaurant chain, Swiss Butter.

Step inside, and you’ll find that the interior evokes a cool, relaxed vibe, replete with exposed structure, container wall panels, wooden accents, and an eclectic mix of chairs for a modern industrial feel.
A Chesterfield-style banquette seating against the high ceiling windows adds rustic comfort, while a touch of greenery helps to brighten the space.
Swiss Butter’s menu is as straightforward as its décor. It has developed a solid reputation for its special sauce, which is made with 33 different herbs and spices and a fair amount of butter. The restaurant has the simplest of concepts, really.
There’s no menu to scan, just a board on the wall offering three proteins: beef, chicken, and salmon. These are served in a skillet smothered in the Swiss Butter sauce, accompanied by slices of white or brown baguette, a choice of crispy fries or a baked potato, and a generous serving of mesclun salad. Dip your fries in the sauce for the ultimate hit.
And for a price tag of SAR88, it’s a pretty good value-for-money option in the heart of the city centre. End the meal with the decadent molten chocolate, classic pain perdu, or you can also opt for a scoop of ice cream or sorbet.
Swiss Butter is just the kind of casual neighbourhood spot you wish you had at the end of your road, and lucky for us, it’s just at the end of the street from where we are.
