Dreamscape opens its first immersive VR experience in Saudi Arabia
Get ready to be transported to a whole new world…
A new state-of-the-art virtual reality experience has made its way to Riyadh. In partnership with Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail, and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, Dreamscape launches its first location in the Kingdom.
Located on the first floor of Riyadh Park Mall, the venue is integrated with Majid Al Futtaim’s entertainment concepts VOX Cinemas, Yalla! Bowling and Magic Planet, and complemented by various food and beverage options, making it the ultimate family-friendly destination.
The Dreamscape experience features four free-roaming and epic free-flying adventures to provide visitors (ages ten and over) with the magic of immersive and full-sensory storytelling.
Groups of up to eight guests will be ushered into a “pod” and outfitted with a full body tracking system, including headsets and hand trackers. That’s where the VR experience begins, with guests appearing in the digital world as full-bodied avatars.
Guests are invited to soar to new heights and perform a daring rescue mission in “DreamWorks Dragons: Flight Academy”; or journey to a wildlife refuge of intergalactic creatures in “Alien Zoo”.
Looking to leap into a more action-packed adventure? Be on a quest to find a cursed treasure in a theatrically themed Indiana Jones-like temple in “Curse of the Lost Pearl: A Magic Projector Adventure”.
Meanwhile, Men in Black fans will get to suit up as the iconic agents, swap sunglasses for a VR headset, and step into a heart-pumping, alien-fighting adventure in “MIB: First Assignment”. As agents, you must quickly accept your first assignment and free-fly on intergalactic hoverbikes to save the universe from the extra-terrestrial world.
