Read, eat, and relax at Locals Café

Guaranteed to brighten up your mornings, this cosy pet-friendly cafe displays secondhand books for you to enjoy over a coffee and croissant. The library is run by the Monochrome Bookstore and guests can buy the books to give them a second life. Open from 7am, the menu features dishes such as grilled sandwiches, avocado on toast, and freshly bakes cookies.

A phenomenal line-up of DJs are coming to the HQ roof garden this weekend for a night of dance and electro music. DJs such as Danah, Hats & Klaps, and KLED will take to the decks from 9pm to 2am. Tickets are available online from SAR400. For an additional SAR150, you can upgrade to the Helipad package where you will get a chance have a walk on the HQ Helipad to experience the view from the highest point in Jeddah City.

A refreshing morning hike in Taif

If you’re on the hunt for an adventurous getaway, pack up the hiking gear and take a drive down to the Taif mountains. Taif is one of the closest hiking spots to Jeddah, a two hour drive away and is great for beginners. You can also enjoy a relaxing walk through nature at one of the beautiful beautiful parks including King Abdullah Park and Saysed National Park.

This weekend, creative art design RJ Design Jeddah is hosting a Van Gogh workshop. Suitable for all levels, artist Manal Mashat will guide you through the class and teach you to identify the different tools used to create his famous A Starry Night piece, learn how to establish the board, learn how to mix colors, and draw just like Van Gogh.
