The fight, which is known to have now been agreed upon for a third time following two previous meetings, is set to take place on Sunday February 26 in Riyadh.
The news was announced through Fury’s Instagram account last night (January 27).
The two young and high-profile fighters were first slated to face each other in December 2021, but Fury pulled out, citing a medical issue. The bout was then rescheduled for August in New York. However, the British fighter encountered visa problems while trying to enter the United States.
So, we’re anticipating that Paul and Fury will look to make it third time lucky.
The event, titled ‘The Truth’, will be co-produced by Saudi Arabia’s Skill Challenge Entertainment Enterprises and Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, in association with Fury promoter Queensberry Promotions and Top Rank.

According to a Twitter post by Most Valuable Promotions, the fight will be held in Diriyah as part of the Diriyah Season. Unfortunately, no further details – such as the ticket prices, the exact venue, and the time – have been revealed.
This will be Paul’s first time fighting in Saudi Arabia. His brother Logan was recently in Riyadh, competing at the WWE’s Crown Jewel event. Paul’s last victory came in October 2022, in a unanimous decision over UFC great Anderson Silva. Meanwhile, Fury last fought in April 2022, when he beat Daniel Bocianski on points.
