Rally Jameel has officially started: Here's all you need to know
The second edition of Saudi’s first-ever all-women navigation rally has started…
Rally Jameel has returned for the second year in a row this March, coinciding with International Women’s Day, this time passing through some of the Kingdom’s iconic landmarks: starting from AlUla to Hail and ending in AlQassim.
The all-women off-road rally, taking place from March 7 to March 11, will cover a 1,600 km route between 300 to 500 kilometres a day. The event was open to everyone – all you needed was a driving partner and a four-wheel or all-wheel drive.
Registration for the rally has ended, and the female-only event has piqued the interest of 82 participants from 25 nationalities. Vroom vroom.
Rally Jameel is focused on testing participants’ navigation and driving skills, not speed, through some of Saudi Arabia’s beautiful heritage sites, as well as empowering women in the Kingdom.
