Chopsticks at the ready, acclaimed Japanese restaurant ROKA Jeddah opens its doors this week, welcoming guests from Tuesday June 13. Now established as one of Riyadh’s best restaurants for leisurely lunches and sophisticated dinners, the sleek international restaurant is heading to the coast, opening at Cascade retail and entertainment complex, within Jeddah Walk.
Reservations are now open and you can choose to dine in either the main restaurant, robata counter, or terrace.

The opening of Roka Jeddah is a collaboration between the creators of ROKA, Azumi Limited; and MJS Holding, responsible for bringing culinary show-stoppers like AOK Kitchen, Il Baretto, ROKA Riyadh and the recently opened Ruya Riyadh to the Kingdom.
Like the original ROKA restaurants in London, as well as the international exports in Kuwait, Istanbul, Dubai and Riyadh, ROKA Jeddah will serve up a sizzling array of Japanese robatayaki dishes. Signature dishes are expertly cooked using the robata grill, a traditional Japanese cooking method inspired by the fishermen cooking fish over charcoal on the boats off the Northern coastal waters of Japan.
The restaurant in Jeddah will serve up ROKA signatures like the miso black cod and iceberg salad, alongside Jeddah exclusives, including fried soft shell crab with chili shisho sauce and chicken sando with gogujang sauce.
The space draws influence from the brand name, which means to socialise around the robata. Designed by Studio Glitt, the space fuses modern Japanese design with an amalgam of textures including wood, stone and metal to create an industrial-chic space. Whether you’re catching up with friends or enjoying an evening meal with loved ones, you can expect authentic Japanese flavours injected with contemporary flair, alongside a buzzing environment and best-in-class service.
