Check out the Saudi Towards Space exhibition all over Saudi

It’s an out-of-this-world kind of experience…

Saudi just sent its very first female astronaut into space this week, and it was definitely one for the history books. Blasting off alongside Saudi male astronaut Ali Al Qarni, the mission took off on Sunday May 21. To celebrate, the country is putting on the Saudi Towards Space exhibitions throughout the Kingdom.

At the event, you’ll be embarking on a journey of your own exploring the past, present, and future of space. The exhibition will include live experiments, engaging workshops, and a stunning show that you can see. You can (virtually) soar through the skies with the flight simulator, and learn all about space exploration.

You can attend the exhibition free of charge in one of the Kingdom’s most ambitious and distinguished projects, King Abdullah Financial District, KAFD in Riyadh. No external food and beverages are allowed inside the venue.

In Dhahran, you can catch the exhibition in Ithra, the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, and in Jeddah, it will be happening in Al Asdaf Plaza.

If you’re more about the recent spaceflight, read on. The space mission the Saudi duo are on board is the Axiom Space 2 mission, they’re travelling alongside former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson and  US pilot John Shoffner.

According to Arab News, the team will have an eight-day stay during which they will attempt to complete 20 projects, 14 of which are projects developed by Saudi scientists covering areas like human physiology, cell biology, and technology development.

Happy exploring…
