Star Wars

Since the release of the first Star Wars movie over 40 years ago, the Star Wars saga has had a seismic impact on both cinema and culture, inspiring audiences around the world with its mythic storytelling, captivating characters, and featuring John Williams’ masterly film scores.

The incredible soundtrack has been honoured with numerous awards, including an Oscar, and it has been named the greatest American film score of all time by the American Film Institute. It includes unforgettable tracks such as the “Main Title”, “The Last Battle”, “The Imperial Attack”, and “The Princess Appears”.

Star Wars concert

Wondering what exactly is “Star Wars: A New Hope – In Concert” then? It’s quite a novel idea, really.

Expect an extraordinary ensemble of over 70 musicians perform the legendary composition by Williams in sync with the images, dialogues, and special effects of the “space opera”, entirely projected on a big screen.

Seeing Star Wars on the big screen is always wonderful, of course. But add to that a live orchestra playing the soundtrack as the scenes unfold. We’re pretty sure it will be as brilliantly spectacular as we’d imagine it’s going to be.

Plus, it makes for a lovely outing or date with loved ones or friends. It will also be the perfect gateway for newcomers to foster a love of live symphonic music in a relaxed atmosphere.
