You can book tickets now…

The Ministry of Culture is constantly putting on incredible initiatives to enrich the community and preserve the history and culture of the Kingdom and Islam. And if you’ve missed the events so far, you can still catch the free Migration: In the Footsteps of the Messenger exhibition.

The exhibition is currently on at the National Museum of Saudi Arabia until December 30. This is its second stop, the first one being King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, better known as Ithra.

The aim of the display is to shed light on the Hijrah journey that took place more than one thousand four hundred years ago.

You’ll be seeing everything from the diverse and rich sections of history including antiquities, and documentaries in a narrative sequence of the events of migration from the pre-Islamic stage, up to the eight days of the journey with its conditions and facts, all the way to Medina.

In Medina is where this journey truly changed the course of the world as we know it. New rules of Islamic history were laid down as a foundation for human civilization with the migration of the Messenger.

The best part is that it’s free, and you can book your tickets here.

Migration: In the Footsteps of the Messenger, National Museum of Saudi Arabia, Mon to Sat 9am to 7pm, Thu 9am to 10pm, Fri 2pm to 10pm. Book your free tickets here. @saudimuseum
