A brand-new film event is coming to Riyadh

There’s something for everyone…

Whether you’re into the world of filmmaking or just want to know what goes on behind the scenes, there’s an event right up your alley coming up. The Saudi Film Commission is gearing up to host the very first Saudi Film Confex.

Happening from Sunday October 1 to Wednesday October 4 at BLVD Expo, the four-day conference and exhibition is set to bring the world’s leading filmmakers, producers, and directors to Riyadh.

The event will feature 100 exhibitors, 50 keynote speakers, and six cool interactive zones that are perfect for both movie connoisseurs and amateurs.

The Inspirational Zone is where you’ll find top creators sharing their stories and talking about the newest trends in the movie industry. The Innovation Zone is one you absolutely have to step by as that’s where cutting-edge film technology and new product concepts will be displayed. 

It’s no secret that Saudi has a lot to offer when it comes to gorgeous picturesque locations, and that is what the Destination Gallery is all about, this is where you’ll get to check out all the unique shooting locations around the Kingdom.

The Interactive Activities area is focused on workshops where the goal is to empower talented and budding filmmakers, provide interactive platforms and new technologies, and enable their performance.

There’s also an experience zone where you’ll get to see all the recent developments and trends in filmmaking. And if you’re looking to network with creatives, head down to the Business Zone.

The event will be focused on three main topics, these being: industry trends, global practices, and challenges and opportunities in filmmaking. Visitor registration is set to be open soon here so be sure to snag a spot.
