It's official: Metallica will be performing at MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2023

The heavy metal band is set to perform next month…

With all the MDLBEAST madness just a few short weeks away, the largest regional music platform is only ramping up the volume of headliner announcements. A Metallica MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2023 is headed our way on Thursday December 14.

Happening from December 14 to 16, MDLBEAST is giving festival-goers three days to immerse themselves in a world filled with music. MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2023 is set to welcome more than 200 artists to its eight stages.

The American heavy metal band was formed in 1981, in Los Angeles by vocalist and guitarist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich and has since been at the heart of the music world.

Metallica first found commercial success with the release of its third album, Master of Puppets (1986), which is considered the heaviest metal album ever released and is considered the band’s best work.

The band has become one of the most noteworthy heavy metal bands of all time and is considered one of the big four of thrash metal, alongside Slayer, Anthrax, and Megadeth.

Previously announced international headliners included Scottish DJ and record producer Calvin Harris, confirmed to be performing on Thursday December 14, followed by massive American record producer, rapper, singer, and songwriter Pharrell along with his Phriends on Friday December 15 and J Balvin on Saturday December 16.

Tickets for the massive music festival have now gone on sale and you can score them here. The massive festival’s tickets are divided into multiple tiers including General Admission, VIB, VIB+, VIB Balcona for eight guests, VIB Balcona for 16 guests, and VIB Box.
