Luckily for fans of the band, Candlelight is bringing Coldplay’s biggest hits for a spectacular tribute concert that will be celebrating the piano-driven melodies of their songs. Hear the best of Coldplay like never before at this captivating Candlelight Concert performed on piano by talented pianist Aldo Dotto on Friday January 12.
After an enormous success around the world – across cities like Dubai, London, Singapore, and New York – Candlelight brings its unique experience to Riyadh for the first time.
Guests will delight in the beautifully lit-up Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace Hotel. Hundreds of candles will fill the stage, creating a wonderful, intimate ambience and illuminating the room with a warm, flickering light.
The evening’s program takes concertgoers on a journey through the band’s most popular songs as well as some lesser-known fan favourites. Turn back the Clocks to Coldplay’s earlier hits like “Yellow” and “Fix You” and see the venue light up like a sky full of stars with more recent tunes like “Adventure of a Lifetime” and “Hymn for the Weekend”.
The solo piano recital will also reimagine classic songs like “Don’t Panic”, “Speed of Sound”, “Trouble”, “In My Place” and “The Scientist”. As candles glow, light flickers and dances, and hands move over keys, the music will resonate and sound as if these songs were written just for you.
