Chic Italian café Cipriani Dolci is set to open in Riyadh

It will offer all-day casual dining, renowned for its tramezzini, pastries, desserts, great mocktails and a selection of Cipriani classics…

We’re huge fans of the upscale Italian restaurant Cipriani at Hittin in Riyadh. Imagine our delight upon finding out that the team behind it is opening a more relaxed little sister restaurant – Cipriani Dolci.

While we don’t yet have an official opening date, we do know that this debut destination in Riyadh will be located within the 1364AH complex in the Diplomatic Quarter. The chain currently has three outlets in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi.

So, what can we expect from Cipriani Dolci in Riyadh?

The concept is a luxurious take on the Italian Pasticceria. So, expect all the good things you’d expect to eat. Think decadent favourites from torta di cioccolato and ice cream freshly whipped to order to lemon tart, tiramisu and more. And of course, a must-try at all Cipriani is the vanilla meringue cake, which tastes like a warm hug from Nonna.

But in addition to satisfying your sweet tooth, the café will offer an all-day casual dining. If the UAE’s Cipriani Dolci menus are anything to go by, we can expect the Riyadh iteration to feature an array of savoury dishes for a heartier meal, including homemade ricotta gnocchi, veal Milanese, tasty sandwiches, and a three-tier truffle pizza tower.

Cipriani Dolci interiors

The grand space in the Diplomatic Quarter will afford plenty of indoor seating and an outdoor terrace for alfresco coffee dates. We can expect the same chic look and feel as its other outposts, with an interior featuring an elegant blue and white nautical aesthetic inspired by luxury yachts, polished steel finishes, high gloss wood walls, and stunning glass chandeliers – it’s the kind of place that will transport you to the Amalfi Coast.

Stay tuned to What’s On Saudi Arabia to be the first to know when it’s set to open…
