Inside As Safiyyah Museum and Park: Madinah's newest attraction

The project has been in the works since 2020…

Saudi Arabia is home to a lot of spectacular destinations and attractions, and now the country has welcomed a wonderful As Safiyyah Museum and Park in Madinah.

Construction on the museum began back in 2020 with a budget of USD210 million and is located south of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

Divided into three main parts, the venue includes a cultural park and the exhibition area, commercial, underground museum, leisure, and associated facilities.

Madinah is a city with history, culture, and religious heritage in spades, and the museum embodies that and the urban identity of the place entirely. Covering an area of 4,419 square metres offers various recreational and educational facilities.

Here’s everything to know about the attraction.

The design

The design of the new property honours Madinah’s urban heritage while adding modern facilities for guests’ comfort. The project’s innovative design has received a lot of attention; as it blends in well with the visual and cultural environment of the city.

Aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance the country’s heritage appeal, restore Islamic history sites in the Kingdom, and improve the cultural experience for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

Public Garden

The public garden offers guests a peaceful area to unwind and take in the view while being a natural refuge right in the middle of the city. Surrounded by water fountains, the palm trees and terraces provide a calm escape amidst the busy city.
