Le Petit Chef returns to Le Meridien Riyadh with a new show
The world’s smallest chef takes over the hotel’s Kazo restaurant to whip up a fascinating new menu…
Dining concept Le Petit Chef, the spontaneous, nomadic, and smallest animated chef in the world, is back at Le Meridien Riyadh to share another gourmet adventure: “Le Petit Chef & Friends”.
For those who missed its Riyadh debut in 2021, the new immersive dining experience takes place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until August 31 at Kazo restaurant, located on the ground floor of the hotel. There are two dinner seatings: 6pm to 8pm and 9pm to 11pm.
What to expect?
Immerse yourself in the enhanced spectacle as your tabletop is transformed into one giant animated storybook using overhead projectors and cutting-edge 3D digital project mapping. The delights for your senses are truly endless, but nothing compared to what Le Petit Chef has prepared for your eyes and tastebuds.
This latest showcase spotlights Le Petit Chef and his friends from Spain, Italy and Japan. Altogether, there are four animated chefs – Le Petit Chef (French) and his friends Pecaniya Maria (Spanish), Piccolo Luciano (Italian), and Chizana Takahiro (Japanese). Each will stroll across your table, creating a dish from their home country, and beguiling you with their wit.
Diners can look forward to a two-hour tale of gastronomic adventure discoveries over a feast of four courses. The journey starts off with a Tomato Salad appetiser, followed by a Trio Cheese Ravioli and Steak & Fries main course, before ending it with a Japanese Mont Blanc, which comprises a matcha cake with green meringue.
Planning on bringing a friend who’s planning to cut down or cut out meat? Fret not as there’s a vegetarian menu (SAR220) serving Eggplant Parmigiana as the main course.
Parents will be pleased to know that a children’s menu (Junior Chef, SAR180) is also available for those up to 10 years of age. And who knows, the visual feast from the whole experience may just inspire your little picky eaters to try every dish, too.
