Riyadh’s event calendar is focused on one massive festival, the coveted Riyadh Season. The citywide festival is returning this year in October, and this is your one-stop handy dandy guide on all the events that have been confirmed so far.
These are Riyadh Season 2024 events we know of so far.
African Super Cup
Set to happen on Friday September 27, with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announcing the venue and kickoff time soon. The final will be played between Egyptian clubs Al-Ahly and Zamalek, under CAF which is the controlling body for association football, beach soccer, and futsal in Africa.

IV Crown Fight
Happening on Saturday October 12, Beterbiev and Bivol will be duking it out as the main card, preceded by seven exciting matches featuring 14 boxers.
Brought to you by major boxing promoters Matchroom, Queensberry, TR Boxing, Boxxer, and World of Boxing Promotions Company, the top-tier fight will start off by fights between Mohammed AlAkel and Jesus Gonzales, and Skye Nioolson and Raven Chapman.
We’ll also be seeing Ben Whittaker vs Liam Cameron, Jen Opetaia vs Jack Massey, Fabio Wardley vs Frazer Clarke, and Chris Eubank Jr vs Kamil Szeremeta.
Lastly, there will also be a fight featuring Shakur Stevenson vs Joe Cordino.

Battle of the Giants

Get ready for Battle of the Giants: Brace for Impact, which will see heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou take on PFL heavyweight champion Renan Ferreira in Riyadh on Saturday October 19. The long-awaited bout will take place at the state-of-the-art Mayadeen in Riyadh. Tickets are now on sale via the webook app, priced from SAR300. Head to webook.com for the details. On fight night, the main event will see MMA superstar and undisputed heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou face Renan “Problema” Ferreira, for the newly minted Professional Fighters League (PFL) Super Fights Championship Belt.

6 Kings Slam
Set to happen in October, the tournament is set to feature the world’s best tennis players. Boasting a total of 50 Grand Slam titles between them, the 6 Kings Slam will feature six of the most elite men in the game including current number one and most successful men’s tennis player Novak Djokovic and Rafa Nadal who is the the winner of 22 Grand Slam titles.
Nadal and Djokovic will also be joined reigning Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz who also won out Riyadh Season Tennis Cup 2023 and is currently the world number two. Former US Open winner and current world number three, Daniil Medvedev will also be joining alongside current world number four Jannik Sinner and current world number seven Holger Rune.

Real Dinosaur models
Just in: Riyadh Season owns one of the largest real dinosaur models in the world, and this year, the model will be on display at Boulevard Riyadh City.
There’ll be a Harry Potter experience
For the fifth edition of the festival, Riyadh Season will be hosting a Harry Potter experience for the first time.
Hans Zimmer concert
Hans Florian Zimmer is a German film score composer, and he’ll be performing in Riyadh this season. Although, the actual date and venue hasn’t been announced just yet, the Hans Zimmer concert will be happening.
