HRH Crown Prince Launches Riyadh Foundation

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Board of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, has now launched a new nonprofit, Riyadh Foundation, which will be operating independently under the umbrella of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City.
The foundation aims to develop an integrated ecosystem for the social sector of the city of Riyadh, by promoting sustainable social development and to achieve a proactive and impactful nonprofit sector in various fields.
The strategy is to establish a world-class think tank, design and deliver impactful social programs and establish and manage social assets in Riyadh City. The main pillars are ensuring that all the initiatives are inclusive and that everyone is connected to the city and wider humanity.
There are other pillars too, including the healthy and happy initiative that aims to make sure everyone leads a happy, healthy, long, and fulfilling life and making sure everyone is practising sustainability. Meaning the goal is that everyone lives in an inclusive, sustainable, green environment, employing earth-friendly practices.
The impact the organisation wants to create is to create new job opportunities, increase the number of non-profit organizations, improve the quality of life, and increase the number of volunteers.
