Saudi Arabia announces public holiday for National Day 2024
Four day weekend incoming…
Just in: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) has announced a public holiday for National Day 2024, and a four-day weekend is coming later this month. As per Khaleej Times, Monday September 23 is an official holiday for the private and public sectors in celebration of Saudi Arabia’s 94th National Day.
As such, the weekend will run from Friday September 20 until Monday September 23 for Saudi residents that typically have a Friday – Saturday weekend.
Work will resume as usual on Tuesday September 24.

This year, the slogan for all celebrations is “We dream and achieve,” embodying its ambitions and future vision. On the occasion of 94 years since the unification of Najd and Hijaz, the Kingdom will be celebrating with events of all kinds.
What is Saudi National Day?
The occasion is typically marked with fireworks, parades packed with floats showcasing the highlights of each region of Arabia, music and traditional outfits, as well as loads of offers and promotions.
