Anticipation is building as Riyadh Season 2024 gears up for its grand launch on Saturday October 12. Adding even more excitement, GEA Chairman Turki Al-Sheikh has just announced rapper, songwriter, producer, and actor Busta Rhymes as the headliner for the Riyadh Season 2024 opening ceremony.
The hip-hop icon is set to bring his legendary energy to the Kingdom Arena stage next Saturday.

An innovator of genre aesthetics and visuals in the early 2000s, the artist remains one of the most Grammy-nominated artists, with 12 under his belt.
Plus, with multiple platinum-selling albums and hits like “Woo Hah! Got You All in Check”, “Break Ya Neck”, and “I Know What You Want”, the Brooklyn-born rap titan is known for his unabashed style, distinctive voice, and fast-rapping lyrical ability.
He has collaborated with artists such as Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson, making cultural cornerstone moments like their 1998 smash hit “What’s It Gonna Be?!”
His 1997 musical event “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See” is considered a cultural reset to this day. Across generations, the rapper has been a chameleon of the times, remaining relevant across decades and generations of fanbases.

In addition to the live performance by Busta Rhymes, the Riyadh Season will also kick off with a thrilling event, featuring the undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol at the Kingdom Arena on Saturday October 12. This highly anticipated showdown will crown the top light heavyweight of this generation.
