Looking for a culinary adventure? Don’t miss the European Food Festival, which is back this October at the Diplomatic Quarter.
Organised by the EU delegation in Riyadh, in cooperation with the various embassies of EU member states, the Saudi Commission for Culinary Arts, and the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh, the two-day event will take place on Thursday October 24 and Friday October 25 at Al Kindi Square.
Experience the richness of European cuisine
The participating countries at the festival will present visitors with an assortment of specialities – all freshly prepared by the many exhibitors – promising two days of culinary delights and vibrant entertainment.
Visitors can stroll from stand to stand and treat themselves with small bites one after another and enjoy the meals from all over Europe.
This family-friendly festival will showcase dishes from the city’s top restaurants and renowned chefs. You can sample a selection of French delicacies like madeleines, croissants, meringues, brioche, and macarons from prominent bakeries. Belgium delights, like caramelised Liege waffles, will also be available.
Visit the Czech Republic pavilion to taste Prague’s best cronuts or the Spanish food stand to satisfy your paella cravings.
There will also be a wide variety of Italian dishes, such as lasagnas, cannelloni, pizza, and unbeatable gelato, bringing the flavours and colours of Italy to the Kingdom.
To add to the multitude of high-quality food stands, various drinks in diverse varieties are offered.
