Riyadh Season's Riyadh Zoo is opening tomorrrow

Family-friendly fun awaits…

Riyadh Zoo first opened its doors to the public way back in 1987 and has become part of the glorious Riyadh Season. As part of the deal, the gorgeous zone is back for the third year in row. Riyadh Zoo 2024 is opening soon.

Set to welcome families from all over the city, the zone is opening on Wednesday October 30, and it will have a little something for everyone.

Aiming to bring together education and entertainment (or edutainment if you will), the zone will be hosting live shows, and interactive experiences, complete for a capacity of 12,000 visitors.

The zone, as we said, has been around for far longer than Riyadh Season, although it’s gotten a mega upgrade since it became a part of the season. This time around, there are multiple new experiences you can look forward to. Get up close to crocodiles, connect with kangaroos, explore the all-new aviary and an exciting bird show too.

Previously, the zone was divided into six areas. These were Al Malaz Bay, Ape Escape, Enchanted Forest, The Garden, The Swamp, and Wild Adventures. So, we can only imagine what new edition has in store.

Zone timings will be from 10am to 5pm. The best part of it all? Entry to the zone is actually free, but last year you were required to book tickets to enter the zone. Stay tuned to What’s On Saudi Arabia for the latest.
