With the weather slowly but surely cooling down out here in Riyadh, alfresco dining is making its comeback. There’s a cooler breeze in the evenings and we don’t know about you, but we’d like to savour it. So, here are the most gorgeous terraces in Riyadh to check out.
African Lounge

Take the lift from the Flamingo Room main dining room and head to the first floor, and you know – just like their other concepts – African Lounge will certainly make a statement. Divided into two areas, a canopied indoor lounge area, African Lounge is draped in heavy-textured curtains and swathed in safari green with undulating sofas and velvet tasselled armchairs, alongside a playful display of animal-inspired furnishings, but we’re more interested in the glorious terrace that offers front-row seats to the buzzy atmosphere of Bujairi Terrace and At-Turaif.

One of Riyadh’s most stylish rooftop spots, Iris Café’s lively outdoor terrace draws in the crowds with its views and calming jungle of foliage. Among pops of greenery, you can chow down on sliders with a mocktail in hand as you overlook the skyline. With a resident DJ to bring the tunes and its immersive visual projections and holograms, this foliage-filled hangout has an inviting, unstuffy, and fun feel.

The staff at Robata calls this “the best terrace in the whole of Riyadh,” and we may have to call it one of, if not, the most gorgeous terraces in Riyadh. Complete with an amazing outdoor bar, stunning views of the Riyadh skyline, zen garden for smokers, Robata is a top Japanese restaurant in the heart of Hittin and serves Japanese cuisine inspired by the Ainu people of Hokkaido, Japan. Favourites include sushi, tataki, tempura and more, along with a selection of indulgent desserts.

Stella Sky Lounge
Stella Sky Lounge is the latest rooftop staple located inside The St Regis Riyadh. This spot is best enjoyed after sunset, with lounge seating neatly arranged on the third-floor poolside. It’s got a sleek city rooftop feel, with zodiac-inspired mocktails and shisha served up to a live DJ and saxophonist six nights per week. This heavenly haunt is perfect for a few delish drinks, all while taking in the glowing city sights around you. Pair with a nibble or two: the food menu includes a selection of mezze platters, beef tacos, ceviche and grilled dishes.
