Qiddiya is kicking things into high-gear with a new Mercedes experience centre

Qiddiya will soon be home to jaw-dropping places like the performance arts centre, a speed track, and the world’s first gaming district. The mega-development has now announced that a Mercedes-AMG World of Performance experience centre will be joining the list.

Opening in collaboration with Mercedes‑AMG and the Mercedes‑AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, the experience centre will span approximately 45,000 square metres  and will be among the largest attractions of its kind in the region.

Featuring numerous highly immersive attractions and exhibits focused on Mercedes‑AMG and its eight‑time World Constructors’ Champion F1 Team, it’s set to welcome visitors within this decade. Across nine floors of adrenaline-fuelled experiences, visitors can dive right into the excitement and thrill of the performance car brand like never before.

The World of Performance will sit alongside Qiddiya City’s highly anticipated Speed Park Track—a fast-flowing racetrack that is set to host an impressive roster of the world’s most prestigious racing events

The Mercedes‑AMG World of Performance in Riyadh will be the first-ever centre of its kind and will immerse visitors in the brand’s rich heritage, celebrate its racing pedigree, and showcase its engineering excellence.

Visitors can also forward to a cutting-edge dark ride featuring some of the most legendary Mercedes‑Benz race cars of all time, get behind the wheel of a professional racing driver in pole position on the grid, F1 fanatics will also be thrilled to know that they can dive into the drama of a Formula One race with an up-close view of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team.

Drivers can also test the limits of the latest Mercedes‑AMG models, including taking on the iconic “Blade” at Turn One which is described as a heart-stopping elevated section of circuit that dramatically rises more than 20 stories above the ground.
