Is Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Al-Nassr?
The star footballer alludes to the chapter being over…
Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most iconic names in football, and has been for quite some time now. And for a while, he played with Riyadh as his home ground for the Saudi club Al-Nassr. After the end of the Saudi Pro League this week, everyone has one question on the tips of their tongues: “Is Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Al-Nassr?”
First announced as a player back in 2023, the six-time Ballon D’or winner joined the Saudi Professional League (SPL) club on a two-and-a-half-year contract after completing formalities at Mrsool Park. Playing in the legendary number seven shirt, of course.

According to the former Real Madrid and Juventus attacker’s Instagram post, “This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all,” which the public and football experts have theorised is about his Al-Nassr exit. He posted the message shortly after Al-Nassr lost 3-2 to Al-Fateh in the last game of the season, finishing third. Ronaldo ended as the league’s top goal scorer with 24.
The Portuguese football star joined Riyadh’s Al Nassr Football Club after leaving Manchester United in November 2022. The Al-Nassr exit has not been confirmed by either party just yet, but we will keep you posted.
Al Nassr, which means ‘victory’ in Arabic, was the first ever club to represent Saudi Arabia on a global level.
