You can soon get your hands on the Nintendo Switch 2 in Saudi Arabia

Or pre-order it now through the Nintendo Saudi Online Store…

It’s almost time. If you’re interested in picking up the latest Nintendo handheld console hybrid, the Nintendo Switch 2 will be available for purchase in Saudi Arabia on Thursday June 5.

Alternatively, you can still pre-order via the newly launched Nintendo Saudi Store, an official online shop for customers in Saudi Arabia.

Managed by the authorised local distributor, the Nintendo Saudi Online Store offers a comprehensive range of products, including the new Nintendo Switch 2 consoles, a variety of games and accessories, and amiibo figurines. The good news is that free shipping is available to all regions within the Kingdom.

At the time of writing this article, you’ll have plenty of luck ordering the Mario Kart World bundle (SAR2,199), which includes the Nintendo Switch 2 console, Joy-Con 2 controllers (L+R), Joy-Con 2 Grip, Joy-Con 2 Straps, the Nintendo Switch 2 Dock, Ultra High-Speed HDMI Cable, the Nintendo Switch 2 AC Adapter, USB-C Charging Cable, and of course, the Mario Kart World game card – but the standalone consoles, not so much.

However, you won’t be able to receive them on the launch date, as all pre-orders for this product placed from today onwards will be delivered only on Sunday June 15. Still, hope isn’t lost.

Elevate your gaming experience to a whole new level

Whether you’re a Nintendo loyalist or a newcomer eager for a cutting-edge gaming experience, here’s everything you need to know about the long-awaited Nintendo Switch 2.

The Switch 2 keeps the same hybrid design as the original. You can play it handheld or dock it to your TV, but the hardware has some improvements.

The new console will feature upgraded performance and a more immersive experience through a bigger 7.9-inch full high-definition screen, 256 gigabytes of internal storage, spatial 3D audio, and improved performance.

The big change is a new pair of redesigned magnetic Joy-Con 2 controllers. Unlike the original Switch, these new Joy-Cons can be used as a computer mouse in compatible games, offering new ways to play and interact with the console.

Another new feature is GameChat, a built-in system allowing voice and video communication for up to 12 players during gameplay. Players will be able to use a built-in microphone or an optional USB-C camera to chat, share screens or see each other in real time. GameChat will be available to all Nintendo Switch 2 users until March 31 next year, after which it will require a Nintendo Switch Online membership.

Nintendo Switch 2 will also include GameShare, enabling users to share compatible titles with friends and family even if they do not own the games themselves, as long as they are part of the same Nintendo Account family group.

When it launches, expect exclusive new game titles like Donkey Kong Bananza, which will provide fresh adventures for fans of iconic franchises.

So, is it worth upgrading from the original Nintendo Switch? Absolutely. The Nintendo Switch 2 is designed to make gaming more dynamic and interactive than ever. Additionally, the compatibility with older games ensures you can still revisit your favourite classics.
