Get ready for WWE Night of Champions 2025 in Riyadh this June
Anticipation for the event is already on the rise…
WWE fans, are you ready for an electrifying night of action? The General Entertainment Authority has announced that WWE will return to Riyadh in June 2025 for the annual Night of Champions.
It won’t be the only show taking place, though.
Friday Night SmackDown will emanate from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh on Friday June 27, with Night of Champions taking place at the same venue on Saturday June 28.
This marks the first time SmackDown will be held in the capital.
Meanwhile, this will be the second time the Night of Champions Premium Live Event is hosted in Saudi Arabia, following the 2023 edition in Jeddah.
Of course, we’re expecting the biggest names for a night filled with championship clashes. While the roster has not been confirmed, it seems that John Cena will play a significant role in the Night of Champions card, perhaps to mark his final WWE appearance in Saudi Arabia.

Dubbed “The Greatest of All-Time”, Cena was prominently featured in the opening moments of the trailer, suggesting that a major sendoff is in the works for one of WWE’s most decorated and iconic Superstars.
His involvement undoubtedly adds considerable star power to the event and will attract global interest, especially considering the historic nature of this being his last match in the Kingdom.
Friday Night SmackDown and Night of Champions will stream live in Saudi Arabia and in most markets around the world on Netflix.
More details, including information about the card, general ticket on sale via the WeBook platform, and further event updates, are expected to be announced for both shows in the coming weeks. So, stay tuned.
