Saudi Arabia issues Hajj 2025 guidelines to beat the heat
Stay safe…
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued several warnings to Hajj 2025 pilgrims to stay out of harm’s way during peak heat hours, along with several other ways to steer clear of the heat wave. These are the Hajj 2025 heat wave guidelines.
The directives urge pilgrims to take measures that aim to protect them from direct exposure to intense sunlight and soaring temperatures forecast across the sacred sites, according to Gulf News.

Pilgrims are urged to remain in their designated tents on Arafat Day between the hours of 10am and 4pm. They are also specifically advised not to leave for Jabal Al Rahmah (Mount Arafat) or Masjid Namirah during these hours.
The Hajj 2025 heat wave guidelines also urge pilgrims to adhere strictly to the approved group movement schedules when moving between the two Holy Sites. Walking is also to be avoided; official transport is the only way pilgrims are allowed to move between the sites.
Hajj pilgrims are also requested to always carry their Nusuk card in a way that’s ready to be presented at all times. The card enables authorities to identify and assist individuals quickly in case of emergency and is considered an essential tool in the Hajj coordination plan.
The Royal Commission for Makkah City has also completed several infrastructure updates and urban development projects in the central area surrounding the Grand Mosque.
The major upgrades are set to improve pedestrian flow, enhance crowd distribution, and raise the operational readiness of high-density zones around the mosque.
