When is the next public holiday in Saudi Arabia in 2025?

It’s not till September…

We’ve been rather spoiled this month with a long Eid Al-Adha break.

So, if you’re back at the office and are already wondering when the next public holiday is in Saudi Arabia this year, here’s all the information you need to plan your next break.

Coming up is the Saudi National Day, which falls on Tuesday September 23. This will also mark the last public holiday of the year.

The holiday commemorates the establishment of Saudi Arabia by King Abdulaziz in 1932.

Unfortunately, as it falls on a Tuesday this year, there will be no long weekend. However, if you strategically plan your annual leave by taking both Sunday September 21 and Monday September 22 off, you’ll then have another long weekend to look forward to.

This national occasion arrives as the Kingdom basks in glory, achieving one accomplishment after another through clear development plans rooted in a comprehensive national vision.

This vision, spearheaded by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, aims to foster growth and prosperity and establish the nation as a beacon on the global stage.

Every year, the streets of Saudi Arabia come alive with vibrant green decorations, fireworks displays illuminate the skies, and citizens demonstrate pride in their homeland. Events, concerts, and cultural performances provide memorable experiences for both residents and visitors.
