Cristiano Ronaldo is set to stay in AlNassr
In case you haven’t heard…
Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most iconic names in football, and has been for quite some time now. And for the past two years, he played with Riyadh as his home ground for the Saudi club Al-Nassr. And we finally have an update on his career in the Saudi Pro League. Cristiano Ronaldo is set to stay in AlNassr.
First announced as a player back in 2023, the six-time Ballon D’or winner joined the Saudi Professional League (SPL) club on a two-and-a-half-year contract after completing formalities at Mrsool Park. Playing in the legendary number seven shirt, of course.

Announced via social media yesterday, the team and the major footie star shared a video with the caption “The story continues,” showing the five-time Ballon d’Or winner walking along a beach before stating, “Al Nassr forever.”
After which, the team followed with another post confirming the renewal, with Ronaldo saying, “A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together.” The star is now set to stay with the Saudi club until 2027.
Despite previous rumours about Ronaldo possibly leaving the Saudi Pro League after a series of posts on social media, it has now been confirmed that the megastar will continue to sport yellow and blue for the next two years.
The Portuguese football star joined Riyadh’s Al Nassr Football Club after leaving Manchester United in November 2022. The Al-Nassr exit has not been confirmed by either party just yet, but we will keep you posted.
Al Nassr, which means ‘victory’ in Arabic, was the first ever club to represent Saudi Arabia on a global level.
