Riyadh goes through viral cafes like no other, and the newest one to hit the list is Veni Coffee. Opening up in the gorgeous King Salman Neighbourhood, Veni Coffee has queues forming behind it. Complete with gorgeous books all over the space, incredible desserts everywhere you look, and somehow even better coffee.

Case Closed

When I last drove by Case Closed, people were queuing up down the entire street (yes, it was that serious). And while I do know that Riyadh loves its burgers, it wasn’t clear it was a cult-like craving for every new spot. Located in Al Takhassousi, Case Closed goes by the motto “better taste needs no proof,” and offers a small but mighty menu, including two burgers and two kinds of fries.

Phet Phet

Phet Phet is the newest Thai spot on the Riyadh restaurant list. A little Thai kitchen (their definition, not ours), Phet Phet lands in the capital from Kuwait where it’s a no-nonsense quaint spot serving great eats, and we think the same ambience carries over to the Riyadh location. Mains on the menu include spicy potato noodles, panang curry (made with homemade red curry paste with coconut milk and peanuts), shrimp cashews, and so much more.

Located smack bang in the middle of Olaya, offering stunning skyline views, and delicious treats, Chérie is one of those “been there a while, but gained attraction recently” spots. Making rounds on TikTok, the spot is known for its pastries, delicious coffees, and more.
