A new summer destination awaits: welcome to Shayb Ghudwanah Park in Riyadh

The park is part of the Green Riyadh project…

While most of the megaprojects coming to Riyadh and Saudi Arabia in general call for mega-tall buildings and futuristic developments, in the quiet of the night, green projects are taking over the city. Turning it into a greener, better place to be. Welcome to Shayb Ghudwanah Park in Riyadh by Green Riyadh.

Acting as a tribute to Riyadh’s favourite valley park, Wadi Hanifa, the park extends over five kilometres, providing an ideal environment for summer activities, walking, and recreation.

Designed to be an integrated destination, Shayb Ghudwanah Park in Riyadh boasts 22 kilometres of walking trails and seating areas overlooking the water. Spanning over 65,000 square metres, it also features 13 children’s playgrounds and multi-use sports facilities, allowing everyone to exercise, stroll, or relax in a safe and attractive environment.

Walk into the stunning destination, and you’ll see ever-flowing waterways that add a certain je ne sais quoi when it comes to its Instagrammability throughout the park. Nine elegant bridges allow visitors to cross from one side to the other, enhancing the flow of movement and interaction with the surrounding landscape.
