You can soon fly direct from Dammam to London on Saudia

The new non-stop service begins in November 2025

Good news for those residing in the Eastern Province. Saudi Arabia’s flag carrier, Saudia, has announced the launch of a new direct flight route connecting Dammam’s King Fahd International Airport with London Heathrow.

The service, scheduled to commence on Thursday November 6, will operate three times a week.

This positions Dammam as the third city in the Kingdom – after Jeddah and Riyadh – to offer direct flights to London Heathrow, one of the United Kingdom’s busiest aviation hubs.

London remains one of the most visited destinations for Saudi residents.

With the addition of Dammam-London, Saudia now connects five Saudi cities directly to the UK capital, joining services from Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, and Neom Bay.

Until now, passengers from Dammam flying to London have had to rely on one-stop itineraries through other Gulf or European carriers. So, this is brilliant news for business travellers, students, tourists, and the large Saudi and expat communities.

In the first half of 2025, reports indicate that Saudia carried 447,287 passengers on 1,933 flights to London Heathrow alone. Besides Heathrow airport, Saudia also operates flights to London Gatwick, Manchester, and Birmingham.
