The first-ever Rally Saudi Arabia 2025 route has just been revealed

The maiden voyage includes 319 kilometres of competitive stages

Saudi Arabia’s rugged terrain is no stranger to incredible rallies happening over different courses and time periods of the year. We’ve seen the likes of Dakar Rally and Rally Jameel take over the Kingdom time and time again, but now it’s time for a new one to join the list. Meet Rally Saudi Arabia 2025.

Starting on Wednesday November 26, the rally begins with the 5.22-kilometre Jameel Motorsport Super Special stage in Jeddah itself, before driving into the unknown on Thursday with a demanding opening loop.

Based out of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, the event introduces a unique blend of open desert speed and rocky technicality. The rally is all about flexibility and adaptation. Picture flowing gravel roads with sweeping turns and blind crests mixed in with unpredictable visibility and surface grip due to constantly changing light conditions and shifting sand.
That will then be followed by the 19.36-kilometre Al Fasallyah test, which will run during the morning and afternoon, sandwiching the 20.12-kilometre Moon Stage – a massive feat for crews writing pace notes from scratch.
The last challenge on Thursday, should crews choose to accept it, comes courtesy of the 11.33-kilometre Khulays stage, again run twice before teams return to Jeddah for service and a second attempt of the Jameel Motorsport Super Special.

Friday is a true test of skill as crews venture furthest from base, with stages reaching deep into the Saudi terrain. The marathon day features two runs through three stages, starting with the 11.69-kilometre Alghullah stage, followed by the 30.58-kilometre stage, Um Al Jerem. The loops then end with runs through the technical 28.59-kilometre Wadi Almatwi stage, offering a more enclosed, winding character as crews head back towards service.
Saturday’s finale begins with the 16.39-kilometre Thabhan stage, before crews tackle the rally’s longest test—the 32.88-kilometre Asfan stage run just once. The rally concludes with the 16.39-kilometre Thabhan 2 Wolf Power Stage.
