Tonight (Tuesday September 30) is your last chance to visit Shang Palace at Shangri-La Jeddah for an exclusive 8-hands collaboration dinner featuring four of Shangri-La’s master Chinese cuisine chefs: Chef Peter Lau Chee Wei from Shangri-La Dubai, Chef Qiguo Su from Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri in Abu Dhabi, Chef Cheng Lu from Shangri-La Bosphorus in Istanbul, and Chef Sky Wong Kum Choy from Shangri-La Jeddah.
Together, the four chefs have created an eight-course, one-of-a-kind set menu.
Not only does the specially curated menu showcase reimagined classics of heritage Cantonese flavours elevated with modern finesse, but each elaborate creation is the result of years of experience.
Diners will enjoy signature dishes, such as King Crab with Caviar, Spinach, and Shredded Tofu Broth Soup, Wok-Fried Wagyu Beef Striploin with Garlic, and Wok-Fried Boston Lobster with Egg Yolk.
Each of the esteemed chefs has had a distinguished career and is a master in their own right. Chef Peter Lau is renowned for blending Cantonese, Teochew, Malaysian, and Singaporean flavours into visually stunning creations.
Chef Qiguo is a Sichuan expert celebrated for refined signatures like Peking Duck. Meanwhile, Chef Cheng Lu’s thirty years of experience are evident in delicate dim sum and memorable seafood dishes.
Finally, Chef Sky, a pioneer of modern Chinese cuisine, is renowned for his ability to blend authentic techniques with global influences seamlessly.
Their collaboration is more than just a meal. It will be a dinner like no other – a celebration and rediscovery of the soul of Cantonese cuisine, immersed in a delightful symphony of flavours and textures.
