Set up at the gorgeous Obaya Lounge, this unique afternoon tea hosted in collaboration with Piaget reflects the brand’s identity. Combining signature Saudi hospitality with refined design, the lounge is actually inspired by the Arabian horse once owned by King Abdulaziz.
Forget your traditional afternoon tea stands; the presentation of the dessert mirrors a clock face. Each sweet is placed like an hour marker, transforming the table into the perfect edible timepiece by Piaget.

A thing that most definitely stands out is the tea infusion station, where you can actually see your tea of choice being brewed right in front of you. I’ve always been more of a coffee person, but this afternoon tea experience definitely made its mark (get the blueberry tea and thank me later).
Guests can savour creations such as the rich salmon rillette on kunafa nest, the creamy chicken cannoli with truffle and chives, and a delicate Gruyère cream gougère. You can also look forward to a refreshing cucumber pinwheel and the light yet flavorful crystal bread with piquant red pepper tartare.
Priced at SAR225 per person, the experience is best enjoyed with a pair of your girlies (shout out to my amazing colleagues and friends).
