Italian fashion school Istituto Marangoni opens its first campus in Riyadh
It’s the first international Higher Education Group in the creative fields
International academic institutes have recently been opening campuses in the Kingdom, including Malvern and the prestigious fashion school Istituto Marangoni in Riyadh.
Located in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), Istituto Marangoni in Riyadh combines a rich cultural and historic heritage with an ongoing technological development and a rapid urban transformation.

The institute is opening in partnership with the Ministry of Culture’s Fashion Commission, with a mission to nurture and support local talents and young professionals. The Higher Training Institute will offer training diploma programmes and professional courses in fashion, business, and luxury management.
The Riyadh Institute offers a wide range of Advanced Training Diploma Programmes, developed with various learning and teaching methods including seminars, tutorials, workshops, classroom lessons, 1-to-1 tutoring, group projects, internships, and individual project work.
Istituto Marangoni Riyadh Higher Training Institute holds a training license from the Ministry of Culture and is allowed to deliver both Advanced Training Diploma (equivalent to Level 5) and Qualifying awards, under the accreditation of the Technical Vocational Training Cooperation (TVTC).
Istituto Marangoni, a private Italian school of fashion and design, is based in Milan, Lombardy, northern Italy. The celebrated institute has branches in Florence, London and Paris, Shanghai and Shenzhen in China, Mumbai in India, and the United States.
How it works with students
Students can have the opportunity to either complete their study path in Saudi Arabia or take advantage of study abroad mobility towards Istituto Marangoni campuses. Students who complete the 3-year program at Istituto Marangoni Riyadh will receive an Advanced Training Diploma, certified by TVTC and recognised in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The program includes a six-month internship (Cooperative Training). After two years, students can progress to the final year in London or Paris and get a bachelor’s degree in their chosen field of study.
