Riyadh is set for the WTA Finals this November: Here's what we know so far

From the legendary Billie Jean King Trophy to the Martina Navratilova Trophy, history will be made right here in Saudi Arabia

Players and fans are preparing for a week of eagerly awaited tennis action as the 2025 Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Finals presented by PIF begins in Riyadh this November.

Some of the world’s best female tennis players will make their mark on indoor hard courts at the King Saud University Indoor Arena.

Scheduled to take place from Saturday November 1 to Saturday November 8, a total of 30 matches will be played as the players compete for the Riyadh title. Naturally, excitement among tennis fans here knows no bounds.

What are the WTA Finals Riyadh?

The event marks the season-ending finals of the WTA Tour for 2025 and will feature eight singles players and doubles teams competing for tennis’ ultimate prize.

Matches are played in a round-robin format between two groups of four, with the top two players or teams from each group progressing to the knockout stage. The singles champion will receive the Billie Jean King Trophy, while the doubles champions will be awarded the Martina Navratilova Trophy.

This is the second year that the WTA Finals will be hosted in Saudi Arabia.
