Confirmed: WrestleMania 43 is officially happening in Saudi Arabia

The news has now officially been confirmed

Wrestling fans, we know you’re on the edge of your seats. After years and years of hosting stellar WWE events in Saudi Arabia, we will now be hosting WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh.

Set to be hosted as part of Riyadh Season in 2027, the announcement followed a historic WrestleMania 41 this past April in Las Vegas, which became the most successful and highest-grossing event in WWE history.

WrestleMania 43 was first announced on Wednesday September 10, in an initially deleted Arabic press release dispatched in Saudi Arabia and was later confirmed by Saudi Arabian advisor Turki Al-Sheikh via Snapchat.

This will be the first WrestleMania held outside of North America and the first in the Middle East, done as part of a 10-year partnership that began in 2018 with the Kingdom.

The coveted event is held annually between mid-March and mid-April by WWE. The very first event was held way back in 1985. WrestleMania was actually WWE’s first pay-per-view (PPV) produced and has since become the most successful annual professional wrestling event in history.

The event promises week-long festivities featuring Friday Night SmackDown, Monday Night Raw, NXT, and of course, tonnes of fan events.

Although no official announcements have been made when it comes to locations and dates, stay tuned to What’s On Saudi Arabia for the latest.
