All the dates, all the cultures: Here's what's on at Suwaidi Park
A world of celebration awaits
It’s that time of year again – the wonderful Riyadh Season. And along with this comes a whole gamut of entertainment zones and experiences.
This year, Suwaidi Park, a significant landmark in Riyadh that opened in 1983, once again gets a bright uplift for Riyadh Season’s most vibrant celebration of cultural diversity. Inspired by the beauty of secret gardens, the park transforms into a wonderland of colourful blooms, glowing installations, and art that celebrates culture and nature.
Every corner of the park tells a new story, and it all comes alive after dusk.
What to expect from Suwaidi Park at Riyadh Season 2025?
The festival, which includes 11 cultures over 49 days, takes you on a journey around the world through traditional foods, music, dances, and handicrafts.
The celebrations aim to immerse visitors in different cultures and heritage through an interactive lens.
Taking place from Sunday November 2 to Saturday December 20, the festival at Suwaidi Park draws families and friends out in large groups, many donning traditional and colourful costumes.
Visitors can expect grand cultural parades, a range of live performances that reflect the fascinating folklore and rich cultures, concerts from international stars, lots of tasty treats, and lively bazaars where you can shop for handicrafts and knick-knacks.
For the little ones, they can look forward to plenty of entertainment at the kids’ stage show and a variety of carnival games.
But what really sets the festival apart will be the incredible atmosphere and energy that buzzes throughout Suwaidi Park during this time.
