Diriyah Season 2025-2026: all the details you need to know

The annual celebration of Saudi Arabia’s rich culture and heritage is back

Saudi Arabia truly is a country like no other, be it the glorious history that spans nearly three decades or Vision 2030, which is set to redefine the future of the country. The Kingdom also hosts citywide festivals to celebrate its incredible achievements, and Diriyah Season 2025 is one of them.

While Riyadh Season takes pride in celebrating the future (also happening right now), Diriyah Season 2025 takes a different route to honour the longstanding history and legacy of the Kingdom.

Diriyah Season 2025

Diriyah Season 2025 will be celebrated under the theme of Where You Experience Legacy and will launch on Saturday November 1, and go on until Monday March 23, 2026.

The events

This year’s edition includes over 10 incredible events happening across all the historical zones in Diriyah.

Diriyah Season 2025 marks the return of Layali Al-Diriyah, which has its own fan following (we lead the charge). Expect an experience that blends culture, live music, arts, and pop-up restaurant experiences like no other, all in a gorgeous outdoor setting.

Then there’s the historical Souq Al-Mawsim, which centres on Diriyah’s unique culture and heritage. It is the place to source seasonal, locally grown fresh produce, local craft items, and special finds from its many stalls. This year, for the first time ever, the zone will be playing host to the ancient culture of Kyoto, celebrating 70 years of Saudi-Japanese diplomatic relations.

Minzal Cultural Camp
Diriyah Season 2025

The very first cultural camp in Saudi Arabia, Minzal, also returns this season. It is a one-of-a-kind experience that celebrates and showcases the most captivating tales of Diriyah’s charm and beauty.

We’ll also be patiently waiting for the return of the Diriyah TYN Festival (designed for architects and enthusiasts of authentic Najdi architecture) in At-Turaif Historical District and the Diriyah Storytelling Festival in Bujairi Terrace. On the events front, we’re also welcoming the Sada Al-Wadi program, which will celebrate folk arts like Samri with poetic and musical performances.

We’ll also be welcoming the shiny new Hal Al-Qusoor exhibition in the At-Turaif Historical District, which takes visitors to the heart of the political and social life that Diriyah witnessed.

As the season unfolds, there will also be a lot of family-friendly events, including Msalliyah and Al-Huwayett in Adhwaihrah District.

New zones this time around include the new Zallal complex, which will be hosting several events that highlight the richness of Saudi culture, and Samhan, which is where the creative workshops will be held.
