The new project aims to enhance access to AlMasjid AlHaram

HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of RUA Al Haram Al Makki Company, has just announced the launch of King Salman Gate in Makkah to help pilgrims access Masjid al-Haram.

The new development aims to enhance access to the mosque, elevate service quality as part of the goals of the Pilgrim Experience Program. The mixed-use destination will prioritise offering residential, hospitality, commercial, and cultural experiences.

That’s not all, though; the new development will also add around 900,000 indoor and outdoor prayer spaces. The project has seamless connections to public transportation networks and will pay homage to Makkah’s identity, blending its rich architectural heritage with world-class modern living to create a truly unique experience.

As part of the new development, the company will also restore and develop approximately 19,000 sqm of heritage sites, preserving Makkah’s cultural and historical legacy.

King Salman Gate is being developed by RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company, a PIF company. It will contribute to Saudi Vision 2030’s goals of economic transformation by generating more than 300,000 jobs by 2036. The PIF Company aims to execute global best practices in real estate development and ensure exceptional experiences.
