The project is home to six distinct cultural regions
In Riyadh, we’ve got the gorgeous Boulevard World; in Dammam, we’ll soon have the Global City, and now we have Global Carnival Jeddah too.
Open until Thursday April 9, the Global Carnival Jeddah brings together the world’s most vibrant traditions, flavours, and experiences to the heart of Saudi Arabia.
The iconic celebration represents a fusion of global cultures, creating an immersive environment where visitors can explore, taste, and experience the richness of the world.
The carnival is divided into six pavilions, each repping a different part of the world. Walk through the new zone and you’ll find areas dedicated to India and Pakistan, Turkey and Morocco, East Asia, the entire GCC (tight fit, we know), Egypt, and Africa.
Each of the pavilions aims to replicate iconic architectural styles from the countries they represent, showcase traditional crafts and products, cultural pavilions that tell the stories of different societies and interactive kiosks that offer hands-on experiences, for you not just to see the culture, but actually hold and feel it right in the palm of your hand.
The organisers work directly with cultural ambassadors, artisans, and experts from each region to ensure that every aspect of the carnival is as authentic as possible.
When at the zone, you can look forward to tasting international cuisine, music, arts, crafts, and a variety of interactive experiences, including adventure parks, balloon displays, and sports courts.
The entire experience aims to go beyond the theme park and foodie destination aspects, showcasing true global diversity in action.
