Fan-favourite Layali Diriyah has finally opened its doors in Riyadh
The open-air wonderland is back
Diriyah Season is an annual culture-focused festival that brings the birthplace of the Kingdom to life through a variety of exciting and engaging events and experiences. One of the season’s most popular events last year was the gorgeous Layali Diriyah in Riyadh, and it’s back this time due to public demand. Here’s what’s new for Layali Diriyah 2025.
In the heart of Al-Murayih, a historic district of Diriyah, an exceptional culinary experience unfolds where global flavours meet timeless tradition, courtesy of Layali Diriyah 2025. The zone will remain open until well into 2026.

Restaurants to book
This year, restaurant pop-ups include Zefferino, an Italian restaurant originally from Genova with branches in Paris and Monaco, known for its iconic pesto. There’s also BIBI, a London-based Indian restaurant that serves dishes inspired by the Indian subcontinent. You can also book Alaya, where Mediterranean food is served with a side of flair in a lively atmosphere.
A third-culture restaurant, Berlin’s 963, invites you to experience a true meshing of flavours from all over the Levant. The restaurant blends the flavours and memories from Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine, intertwining them with global influences.
Persian food takes centre stage at Shahnamah. The restaurant offers a refined Persian dining experience that showcases the rich flavours of Iranian cuisine. And you can’t attend a Diriyah Season event without tasting Saudi flavours, and Areesh Al Nakeel does just that. Offering up a slice of traditional charm with authentic Hijazi and Saudi flavours.
There may be a very small percentage of people who have been to Riyadh and Khobar who possibly don’t know what Parkers means to the public. The restaurant, which serves delicious American comfort classics, makes its Diriyah Season debut with Parker’s Farm. Each dish served tells its own tale from farm to table.
What to expect
The event features artistic performances, live music, and various art forms, alongside a diverse selection of food, all set in an incredible ambience that showcases the perfect combination of luxury and authentic traditions.
Layali Diriyah also includes several booths dedicated to traditional and winter food and beverage offerings. You can also look forward to swings and traditional folk performances, alongside numerous other fun experiences.
