If you still feel like the Riyadh Book Fair ended too early, you’ll be happy to know that the Jeddah version is happening very soon. Bibliophiles, it’s your time to shine. Welcome to the Jeddah Book Fair 2025.
Happening from Thursday December 11 to Saurday December 20, the book fair will be partly organised by the Ministry of Culture.

The fair brings together a diverse collection of literary works, publishing exhibits, and cultural activities in the heart of Jeddah. Visitors can look forward to catching local and international authors, enjoying lectures, and participating in cultural discussions.
As part of the fair’s mission to develop the writing and publishing industry in the country, publishers, writers, and readers are all encouraged to participate.
Children will also enjoy the Jeddah Book Fair, as in previous years, there has been a specific pavilion allocated for them. Last year, activities that took place fused together learning and playing, performances, theatre shows, puppet workshops, fashion, culinary arts, music, a storyboard-making workshop, and several other activities.
The Jeddah Book Fair is actually the third book fair initiative organised by the Saudi Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission. In 2025, the commission organised the Madinah Book Fair held in June and the Riyadh Book Fair in October.
The Riyadh International Book Fair that happened this year was free to attend but did require tickets, so stay tuned for more on the Jeddah edition soon.
The Jeddah Book Fair 2025 will also have a specific pavilion for manga and comic book lovers, featuring exclusive offers on different works. Plus, there are a ton of bargains to be had at the discounted section
