First look: Reform Athletica opens its first-ever fitness studio in Saudi Arabia
Dubai’s cult-favourite pilates and fitness studio has officially opened its doors in Riyadh
Ladies and gents, say hello to Riyadh’s new fitness studio, Reform Athletica.
The Dubai-born wellness brand has officially opened its doors at the 1364 complex in the Diplomatic Quarter, bringing its elevated wellness experience to the capital.

Known for its fun yet challenging workouts in a homely, welcoming environment, the boutique studio has made a name for itself by blending mindful training with beautiful spaces.
And Reform Athletica’s third location – the first in Saudi Arabia – stays true to that formula.
Inside the studio
Designed in collaboration with London-based architecture and interior studio TR Studio, it is possibly one of the most beautiful workout spaces we’ve stepped into in Riyadh.
Natural light pours in, modern equipment sits neatly in place, and the whole space feels thoughtfully put together, more like a boutique wellness studio than a traditional gym. The light-filled studio features soft, curved lines and an airy layout, creating a calming environment for classes that challenge your muscles.
There’s a comfortable area to sit and unwind before or after class, plus shelves stocked with Reform Athletica’s branded socks and workout outfits if you feel like leaving with a little piece of the studio.

Pass through the curtain into the workout studio, and you’ll notice contemporary art lining the walls and appearing in corners throughout the space.
Apart from its stunning design, Reform Athletica is fully prepared for a serious workout, offering a dedicated Megaformer room, a multi-purpose studio, private personal training rooms, and separate male and female changing rooms with showers.
Ready for the burn?
You can choose from four different classes, including the Reform Method, Microform, RA Strength, and deep-stretch yoga.
We tried the Microform class for the first time, and safe to say it’s not one for taking it easy.
There are no breathers here; you’ll move quickly through planks, mat work, and other strength-building sets, along with free weights, with barely a pause in between. Each session delivers a proper full-body workout, and after 50 minutes of moving and shaking, you’ll likely feel the effects for days.
Classes here aren’t tiered by level, but the enthusiastic instructors will guide men and women of all fitness levels and even offer adjustments for beginners (i.e., me).

We also love that classes have limited spaces for 10 to 12 people, making it a personalised and exclusive experience.
And after class, don’t forget to pick up your coffee, smoothies, and light bites from RA Fresh Café.
Oh, and sustainability is key here – the studio keeps plastic use to a minimum, making mindful fitness part of the ethos.
