25hours hotel to open in NEOM's mountain resort Trojena

The iconic hotel will feature a ski slope, in-house cinema, world-class restaurants, and more…

NEOM’s hotel development division has officially signed its first hotel partnership with lifestyle hospitality company Ennismore. Responsible for well-known restaurants and hotels around the world, Ennismore will open a 25hours hotel and Morgans Originals hotel in NEOM’s mountain tourism destination and ski resort, Trojena.

Situated in the centre of the mega city, Trojena is set for completion by 2026 and will feature an outdoor ski village, family-friendly wellness resorts, nature reserve, and watersports.

Rooted in creativity and culture, the two hotel brands will attract both local and international tourists seeking adventure and luxury in a unique setting.

Trojena’s Morgans Originals hotel will feature four world-class restaurants, a 2,000-metre spa and bathhouse, an architecturally-significant ski slope roof, and a rooftop bar overlooking the dramatic Trojena mountains. The unique hotel will also have an eight-story vertical core with microclimates and immersive art experiences.

The hotel will be “designed to transport guests from the surreal and natural landscapes of Trojena, into a world rooted in the iconic cultural legacy of the brand.” The Morgans Originals design team will “feature an eight-story vertical core with microclimates and immersive art experiences that will showcase the individuality of the brand.”

The 25hours team are working alongside Berlin-based design agency Studio Aisslinger to create a tailored concept for Trojena to embrace its locality. The hotel is “inspired by the futuristic architecture of the building and will include nods to science-fiction movies as well as to the alpine heritage of the brand.”

Its main features include an in-house cinema, a farm-to-table restaurant, a bike workshop with co-working, and a rooftop restaurant with a pool.

Trojena, characterised by its high mountain range, recently won a bid to host the 2029 Asian Winter Games. At 2,600 meters above sea level the resort will have a cooler temperatures and suitable infrastructure to create a year-round destination for winter sports.
