A huge Banksy exhibition is set to take place in Saudi Arabia

If you’re a massive fan of art, you might want to mark February 21 in your diary as a huge exhibition of the work of elusive British graffiti artist, Banksy is taking place in Riyadh.
You’ll find the exhibition, which is named “The Art of Banksy ‘Without Limits,'”, at the King Abdullah Financial Center in Riyadh. It will be the first time that these pieces of art have ever been shown in the Middle East, so make sure you don’t miss it.
Over 70 pieces of Banksy’s artwork will be exhibited at the event, consisting of photographs and various printed materials. Additionally, the exhibition will also include a documentary on the artist and his work, as well as some cool visuals and theatrical effects.

The showcase in Riyadh is the next stop on a world tour of the exhibition, which has already stopped in Amsterdam, Melbourne, Berlin and Paris. It will run from February 21 to April 20, so there’s plenty of time to stop by.
Banksy is arguably one of the most famous artists in the world. Ironically however, his true identity remains a secret. Active since 1990, his graffiti-style artworks have often used satire and dark humour to depict political statements.
His stencil-style artwork became famous in the UK, where it would appear on the sides of buildings, and gained recognition around the world. His ‘Girl With Balloon’ creation is perhaps one of his most recognisable, for those not too clued up on art.
Banksy boasts 8.9 million followers on Instagram and in 2010 he was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine. His artworks have sold for millions of Dirhams.
The organisers of “The Art of Banksy is meant to celebrate Banksy’s art and drive his message of hope and humanity to the world,”.
